DC Component Regulating Resistor
AT series DC component regulating resistor is designed to regulate and limit DC current components in power systems, including HVDC converter station grounding resistors, transformer neutral DC bias suppression resistors, and converter valve neutral grounding resistors. High capacity, high voltage, long-term stable operation, with adjustable resistance and high DC current withstand capability.
Application
AT series DC component regulating resistor is specialized equipment for regulating and limiting DC current components in power systems. Main applications include:
HVDC converter station grounding electrode resistor: Limits grounding current during HVDC system monopolar earth return operation, protecting grounding electrodes and surrounding facilities
Transformer neutral DC bias suppression resistor: Suppresses transformer DC bias caused by HVDC monopolar earth return or geomagnetic storms, protecting transformers from bias saturation damage
Converter valve neutral grounding resistor: Provides reference potential for converter valve neutral and limits abnormal DC current
HVDC system commissioning and testing: Simulates and regulates DC components, tests equipment DC bias tolerance
Large synchronous motor excitation systems: Regulates DC components in excitation circuits
Geomagnetically Induced Current (GIC) suppression: Suppresses grid DC components caused by geomagnetic storms, protecting grid equipment
